Guy Turner appointed to Rezatec Board as Non-Executive Director

Rezatec, the provider of satellite-based environmental management products, today announced the appointment of Guy Turner to the Company’s Board of Directors. Guy also joins Rezatec as an investor.

Guy has over 20 years’ experience in developing analytical, information and data services in the natural resource and environmental fields. He was previously Head of Commodity Research and Chief Economist at Bloomberg New Energy Finance where he founded and developed the carbon market analysis business, a subscription-based service that is now used by governments and leading businesses worldwide. He then went on to build products for the power and gas markets, and founded and ran the firm’s consulting business, overseeing the delivery of all economic analysis services.

Prior to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Guy held senior positions in a number of environmental and energy consulting businesses. He has advised governments and leading businesses on their climate and energy strategies, is a well-known conference speaker, and writes regularly on these subjects in journals and books. Guy also sits on the advisory board of the Barclay’s Environmental Index Committee and played an active role in the formative years of the Carbon Markets and Investors Association.

Michael Cross, Chairman of the Board at Rezatec said:  “We are very pleased to have Guy joining an already strong board. In particular, his knowledge of information products and markets, which he has successful set-up and managed at New Energy Finance, will help us steer our product strategy.  His knowledge of end markets for our products and services will help us as we ramp up sales during 2014 and onwards.”
