Rezatec, the industry-leading UK geospatial data analytics company, has been selected as one of five companies to feature in the ‘New Space Showcase’ event at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus – home of the UK’s space sector – taking place on Thursday 14th June 2018 and to be attended by His Royal Highness The Duke of York.
As members of the world-renowned Harwell Space Cluster – Rezatec are part of an 80-strong group of private, public and academic organisations focused on democratising the Space market and supporting the UK Space Sector as it aims for a 10% share of the global market by 2030.
Rezatec has been based at Harwell campus since 2012 and moved into a brand new global headquarters on the site in March 2018. In that time, the company has been able to attract a wide range of highly skilled employees ranging from Earth Observation specialists to Data Scientists, and has grown from 5 to 37 employees, raising several million pounds worth of investment in the process.
“Having been a part of the Harwell Space Cluster for over 5 years now, we are naturally keen to strengthen our presence on campus to capitalize on the commercial advantage of being amongst 80 + other space related organisations,” said COO Philip Briscoe.

Compass Project, Mexico
An International Partnership Programme with the UK Space Agency, helping Mexican farmers improve sugar cane and wheat yields through the analysis of satellite data via a mobile application.
Eden Project – Invisible Worlds
The curation of an exhibit as part of the Eden Project’s Invisible Worlds programme dedicated to showcasing how geospatial analytics, derived from the interpretation of Earth Observation data, can provide innovative and alternative landscape intelligence with particular focus on forests and agricultural land under the European Space Agency’s Business Applications programme.
