Marketing Assistant

Main Purpose:
A vacancy exists within Rezatec for a Marketing Assistant, based at our head office in Harwell, Oxfordshire. We are looking for candidates with a good understanding of B2B social media marketing, some experience of using CRM systems, building and broadcasting email campaigns, and who have the motivation to learn and take on responsibilities.

The Marketing Assistant will help with the delivery of global lead generation and brand awareness campaigns to support sales pipeline and revenue targets, as well as the overall aims and objectives of the Company. This is a hands-on position, working simultaneously across different marketing activities and programs and is a good opportunity for a hard-working, enthusiastic and professional individual to further develop existing marketing skills and disciplines. This position will report directly to the Head of Demand Generation and will work closely with the Marketing Programmes Manager and external agencies.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to commute to the Harwell office.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reports to head of demand generation and supports both head of demand generation and marketing programmes manager to generate new leads through inbound and outbound marketing programmes.
• Manage new leads and ensure all data is correctly entered, assigned and actioned in the CRM system (salesforce).
• Help manage the company’s social media accounts. Identifying, suggesting and scheduling content in-line with key messaging and engaging with target audiences. Reporting on social media activity and suggesting ways to improve engagement.
• Provide support in building and launching email and automation campaigns in marketing automation tool (Pardot).
• Update the company’s website with approved press releases, blogs & revised product messaging.
• Support in organising our attendance at events, webinars and conferences around the world: Booking exhibition space, preparing sales literature and attending where required.
• Maintain a central repository of marketing assets and ensure access for multiple audiences.
• Assist in the development of quality content to support campaigns and work with internal and external resources to coordinate requirements and content generation.
• Assist in the reporting of results, consistently strive to improve campaign performance through metrics, measurement and optimisation.

Preferred Skills
• Demonstrable track-record in social media marketing.
• Experience working with digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Experience of using CRM systems – preferably Salesforce and Pardot.
• Highly organised, great attention to detail and deadline driven.
• Excellent at writing and adapting core content for various purposes.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and a solid team player focused on results.
• Experience working in a fast-growing SME.
